As a prayer counselor and life coach, it is my joy to connect a broken, wounded heart with the Healer. Jesus said, “I came to heal the broken-hearted.”
The heart refers to our inner self – our mind, will, emotions, thoughts, personality. So often life has happened and a heart has been hurt and instead of growing and thriving in life, the heart becomes a wasteland of existing. Until one day, you get tired of the spinning carousel of life and you realize, you need time with your Creator. In a counseling session for Heart-Care, you will have an opportunity to encounter the freedom that comes from inner healing.
A Heart-Care meeting begins with connecting with the Master Gardener, Immanuel, the God that is always with us. Once connecting in that powerful place with God, the Holy Spirit is able to heal the broken parts of the heart often held captive by pain without a person having to relive traumatic memories from the past. Jesus goes straight to the issue bringing an experience that is both powerful and life-changing. Instead of appealing to the logic of a person’s mind to try to solve the problem and convince the mind to change, Jesus brings His healing love to deep wounds that creates lasting change. As brokenness is uncovered, the pain releases and the heart is awakened to wholehearted living and can flourish.
My role is to guide the session while Jesus brings the freedom. Think of me as a Holy Spirit midwife bringing grace and freedom in Jesus to areas of your heart that have been yet to be made into His likeness. He loves you so much and wants your whole heart to experience that love.
