Ephesians 5:18 says, ‘Be filled with the Holy Spirit.” To live a spirit filled life it is important to intentionally connect to the Holy Spirit every morning for fresh wine of the Spirit. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow will wait. You need a fresh infilling every new day…multiple times a day. We connect to Holy Spirit in prayer.
“Holy Spirit, I drink deep of You. (Inhale deeply and sit quiet allowing His peace to come)
I drink in Your life, Your light, Your love.
I ask, come fill me with Your holy character:
Love, joy, peace,
Patience, kindness, goodness,
Faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
I ask, empower me this day with Your gifts of:
Redemption,
Inspiration,
and Power.
Take me to Jesus, to know Him and His transformation in my life.
Allow me to be immersed in my Heavenly Father’s affection
To know I am loved and wanted and belong to Him.
From this place of Holy connection let me live a Spirit-filled life
Loving God and loving others because I know I am dearly loved by God.
I am asking if I lose connection, in Your lovingkindness alert me, reminding me of the tools to ride the waves in my soul back to You. In Jesus Name, AMEN.”
